RULES
6500# PRO STREET GAS
Engines & Drivetrain
1. Cast iron blocks only, aluminum intakes, any cast iron or conventional type aluminum cylinder heads permitted. No pro stock type cylinder heads, sheet metal, or tunnel ram intakes permitted. No dry sump oiling systems.
2. A 585 cu in limit will be enforced.
3. Dominator carbs. permitted. No turbos, superchargers, injection, EFI, split or dual carbs.
4. Open headers permitted must exit down and back.
5. Engine must be same make as truck and the back side of the block must be at least 15" behind the center of front axle.
6. Transmission, and transfer case front, and rear end must be OEM, 1 ton or less.
7. Heavy duty afatermarket drivetrain parts can be used in OEM housings.
Chassis
1. Factory frames only no tube chassis.
2. Traction bars are permitted.
3. Solid or block suspension permitted front and rear.
4. Crew cab and extended cab trucks are permitted.
Weights
1. Front weights and brackets may not extend more than 195 inches forward from the center of rear axle.
2. This measurement is used to compensate for allowing longer wheelbase truck to compete.
Hitch
1. Hitch must be a minimum of 36" from the center of the rear axle and a maximum of 24".
2. Hitch can be adjustable, but it must be stationary in all directions when pulling. Draw bar can't extend forward past the center point of rear end. All pullers must furnish their own clevis or 3-3/4" hitch hole.
Truck
1. Cab must have factory sheet metal and windows. Fiberglass hoods and hood scoops permitted. Driver side window must be operational.
2. Must have good solid bed floors.
3. Flat beds are permitted as long as they are factory built or heavier.
4. Firewall modifications permitted, must use at least 20 gauge steel. Factory cab floor required. Center humps can be altered for ease of transmission removal. All modifications to cab MUST be sealed off completely,
no big holes or gaps.
5. Batteries and fuel tanks permitted out front, as long as they are concealed.
Tires
1. Any street legal DOT approved tire.
2. Maximum tire siz 36" tall x 16" wide.
3. No cut or sharpened tires allowed.
Safety
1. No nitrous or any pressurized fuels.
2. Pump gas or racing gas only. No alcohol or nitro permitted.
3. Drive shaft loops, U-join shields, blowproof bell housing or transmission blanket and kill switches are required.
4. It is recommended for all drivers in this class to wear helmet and fire jacket, and to have a fire extinguisher in the cab.
6500# Cheater Stock Gas Truck
Engines & Drivetrain
1. Blocks and heads must be cast iron.
2. Aluminum intakes, single four-barrel carburetors and EFI permitted.
3. 4500 series dominators, turbos and superchargers are not permitted.
4. Headers permitted . Must exit down and back through mufflers.
5. Engine must be same make as truck and in stock location.
6. 514 cu in limit.
7. Transmission and transfer case must be OEM, 1 ton or less.
8. Front and rear axles must be OEM, 1 ton or less.
Chassis
1. Factory frames 1 ton or less required with coil or leaf springs front and rear. Must have at least (4) working leaf springs per side on rear.
2. Tractions bars are permitted.
3. Rear suspension blocks are permitted with at least 1" of suspension travel.
4. Crew cab and extended cab trucks are permitted.
Weights
1. Hanging weights are allowed.
2. All weights must be secured. Disqualification may be enforced in any weights fall off.
3. Front weights and brackets may not extend more than 195 inches forward from the center or rear axle.

2. No removing of bed floor.
3. Flat beds are permitted as long as they are factory built or heavier.
4. Fiberglass hoods and hood scoops permitted.
5. Batteries and fuel tanks must be in stock location or in bed.
Tires
1. Any street legal DOT approved tire is permitted.
2. Maximum tire size 36: tall and 16: wide.
3. No cut or sharpened tires allowed.
Safety

1. 8000 lb.
2. All drivers must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver's license. Entrants under the age of 18 must provide written parental consent.
3. Gas or Diesel.
4. 26" hitch height. All pullers must furnish their own clevis or 3-3/4" hitch hole.
5. Blow proof bell housing, kill switch, driveshaft loops, exhaust must exit straight up or straight down, helmet.
6. Track and Tech officials' decisions are FINAL.
8000# Pro Stock Diesel
1. All trucks who place in this class will be teched!
2. All drivers must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver's license and registration. Entrants under the age of 18 must provide written parental consent.
3. This class is designed for high performance 2 and 4wd trucks. Open driveline is permitted. Fiberglass bodies and tube chassis frames are prohibited.
4. Engines must be OEM and available in 1 ton or less pickups. No aftermarket heads or blocks permitted.
5. Single chargers are unlimited.
6. Limited twin charger set-ups are permitted. The inducer bore on the atmosphere charger is limited to 3.2". A 3.25" plug will be used to tech these trucks. Bushings are permitted.
7. No nitrous or propane. All tanks and lines must be removed from trucks before competing.
8. Front weights and brackets may not exceed more than 60" from center of front axle.
9. Solid rear suspension and traction bars are permitted.
10. Pulling type hitches are permitted; hook point at least 36" behind the center of rear axle. Max 26" high on 4wd and 30" high on 2 wd. All pullers must furnish their own clevis or 3-3/4" hitch hole.
11. Any DOT approved tire permitted. No cutting or sharpening of tires permitted.
12. Safety requirements. Must have drive shaft loops and u-joint shields on front and rear shafts. U-joint shields must be at least 3/8" thich aluminum or 1/4" thick steel. Blow proof bell housings, or blankets or bell housing shields required.
Air or fuel shut off kill switches required.
13. Smoke must exit straight up. Turn ups required on tail pipes.
14. Track and Tech officials' decisions are FINAL.
8000 # Street Legal Diesel
1. All trucks who place in the money will be teched!
2. All drivers must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver's license. Entrants under the age of 18 must provide written parental consent.
3. 8000 lb limit (dual rear wheels allowed).
4. This class is limited to a single charger. The inducer bore on the compressor housing cannot exceed 2.60". This will be teched using a 2.65" plug, if the plug goes in you will be disqualified. Bushing from any larger turbo size down to a 2.6 turbo is
prohibited. The stock map width enhancement (mwe) groove is allowed. NO mwe groove wider than a 1/4" will be permitted. All provisions allowing air to the wheel other than via the bore and the mwe groove are prohibited. Twins are permitted
as long as they are OEM for that truck.
5. Diesel fuel and bio diesel are the only fuels permitted in this class.
6. Exhaust must exit straight up or straight down - NO EXCEPTIONS
7. Rear OEM stype suspension required. Solid suspension blocks and traction bars are permitted.
8. Must pull off a Reese type hitch, mounted solid to the frame w/no movement. Reinforcements permitted. Hooking point must be the furthest point back of the truck and a maximum of 26" high on 4wd trucks and 30" high on 2wd trucks. All
pullers must furnish their own clevis or 3-3/4" hitch hole.
9. Front weights and brackets can't exceed more than 60" from center of front axle. All weights must be secured. Disqualification may be enforced in any weights fall off.
10. Any DOT approved tire permitted. No cutting or sharpening of tires permitted.
11. No nitrous, propane, or any other pressurized fuel permitted. All tanks, lines, etc. must be removed from trucks before competing.
12. Mandatory safety: all trucks must have 6" long u-joint shields covering rear end yoke, rear output yoke, front output yoke, and front end yoke. The front output yoke cover is not required if lack of room prevents installation. Shield thickness requirements, aluminum min 3/8" and steel min. 1/4".
