RULES
6500# PRO STREET GAS
Engines & Drivetrain
1. Cast iron blocks only, aluminum intakes, any cast iron or conventional type aluminum cylinder heads permitted. No pro stock type cylinder heads, sheet metal, or tunnel ram intakes permitted. No dry sump oiling systems.
2. Aluminum intakes and single four-barrel carburetors permitted. Dominator carbs. permitted. No turbos, superchargers, injection, split or dual carbs.
3. EFI engines permitted.
4. Headers permitted with mufflers and must exit behind cab. Open headers permitted must exit down and back.
5. Engine must be same make as truck and in stock location.
6. 572 cu. in. limit.
7. Transmission and transfer case must be OEM.
8. Front and rear axles must be OEM.
Chassis
1. Factory frames 1 ton or less required with coil or leaf springs front and rear.
2. Traction bars are permitted.
3. Rear suspension blocks are allowed.
4. Crew cab and extended cab trucks are permitted.
Weights
1. Front weights and brackets may not extend more than 195 inches forward from the center of rear axle.
2. This measurement is used to compensate for allowing longer wheelbase truck to compete.
3. 6500# weight limit.
Hitch
1. Hitch must be a minimum of 36" from the center of the rear axle and a maximum of 26" high.
2. Hitch can be adjustable, but it must be stationary in all directions when pulling.
Truck
1. Must have complete facotry sheet metal and windows.
2. No removing of bed floor.
3. Flat beds are permitted as long as they are facotry built or heavier.
4. Fiberglass hoods and hood scoops permitted.
5. Batteries and fuel tanks must be in stock location or in bed.
Tires
1. Any street legal DOT approved tire.
2. Maximum tire siz 36" tall x 16" wide.
3. No cut or sharpened tires allowed.
Safety
1. No nitrous or any other pressurized fuels.
2. Pump gas or racing gas only. No alcohol or nitro permitted.
3. All drivers must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver's license. Entrants under the age of 18 must provide written parental consent.
4. We recommend that competitive trucks in this class run dirve shaft loops, U-join shields, blowproof bell housing or transmission blanket and kill switches for everyone's safety.
6500# HOT STREET 4X4 TRUCK
1. All trucks who place in this class will be teched!
2. All drivers must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver's license. Entrants under the age of 18 must provide written parental consent.
3. Trucks must be street legal except for exhaust.
4. All trucks must be 1 ton or less (including all drivelines), no drop style transfer cases (Profab).
5. No diesel trucks.
6. May use a modified car or truck type engine.
7. No nitrous, propane or alcohol fuels or fuel accelerants.
8. DOT tires, no studs, no cut or sharpened tires.
9. Headers must be downward swept, no upright headers.
10. No Dominator Carburetors.
11. External front weight brackets allowed.
12. Maximum hitch height of 26 inches measured at the hook point on a clevis pinned vertically and at the pin on a clevis pinned horizontally.
13. Chips, programmers and other horsepower enhancers may be used.
14. 6500# weight limit.
15. Loss of a weight during a pull will result in a disqualification.
16. No blocked suspension.
17. Drive shaft loops and a kill switch are highly recommended.
18. No aftermarket fuel injection.
19. No gutting of the truck body or interior.
20. Absolutely NO riders.
21. Entrant must supply a clevis with a 3" opening.
22. Trucks will be subject to an underhood inspection.
23. Track and Tech officials' decisions are FINAL.
Run What you Brung (RWYB)
1. 8000 lb.
2. All drivers must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver's license. Entrants under the age of 18 must provide written parental consent.
3. Gas or Diesel.
4. 4x4 truck
5. 26" hitch height
6. Blow proof bell housing, kill switch, driveshaft loops, exhaust must exit straight up or straight down, helmet.
7 Track and Tech officials' decisions are FINAL.
Pro Stock
1. All trucks who place in this class will be teched!
2. All drivers must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver's license and registration. Entrants under the age of 18 must provide written parental consent.
3. 8000 lb limit (Dual rear wheels allowed).
4. No nitrous, propane, alcohol etc. allowed. #2 Diesel only.
5. Hanging weights allowed, furthest pont must not exceed 60" from C/L of front axle. All weights must be secure; disqualification may be enforced if weights fall off.
6. Any single charger and LIMITED two charger configuration. 3" bore on single chargers - NO PLUGS. Twins must bolt directly to a stock exhaust manifold. The atmosphere charger must have a 3" inducer bore - NO PLUGS.
7. DOT tires, no studs, no cut or sharpened tires.
8. No aftermarket transfer cases or transmissions, i.e. Dropboxes, Reversers.
9. Factory rear suspension may be blocked, no custom rigid suspensions allowed.
10. Hitches: Reese style hitch, factory bumper or under bed hitch. Hook point must be 48" from centerline of the rear axle. Hook point must be at least a 3" OD ring or clevis.
11. 26" hitch height.
12. Traction/Ladder bars allowed.
13. Exhaust must exit straight up or straight down.
14. No aftermarket heads.
15. Engine must be out of factory 1 ton or smaller pickup.
16. Bellhousing blankets required for trucks that do not meet the Street Stock rules.
17. Driveshaft loops required for trucks that do not meet the Street Stock rules.
18. Water injection permitted.
19. Fire extinguishers required.
20. Injections pump must be stock appearing (for example: No Ag governor on P pump). Dual CP3 pumps allowed.
21. Track and Tech officials' decisions are FINAL.
Street Legal
1. All trucks who place in the money will be teched!
2. All drivers must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver's license. Entrants under the age of 18 must provide written parental consent.
3. Must provide license and registration.
4. Must have full interior, exterior. Has to remain street legal.
5. 8000 lb limit (dual rear wheels allowed).
6. Hanging weights allowed, furthest pont must not exceed 60" from C/L of front axle. All weights must be secure; disqualification may be enforced if weights fall off.
7. No nitrous, propane, alcohol etc. allowed. #2 Diesel only.
8. No water injection.
9. Single charger only limited to maximum of 2.5" wheel. No reducers, plugs, etc. can be used to make a large wheel charger "fit" into this class. Chargers will be teched.
10. DOT tires, no studs, no cut or sharpened tires.
11. No aftermarket transfer cases or transmissions.
12. Rear suspension must have a minimum of 1" of travel.
13. Must pull from Reese style hitch or factory bumper. Hook point must be at the furthest most point of the vehicle. Hook point must be at least a 3" OD ring or clevis.
14. 26" hitch height.
15. Traction/Ladder bars allowed.
16. Exhaust must exit straight up or straight down - NO EXCEPTIONS.
17. No aftermarket heads.
18. Engine must be out of factory 1 ton or smaller pickup.
19. Bellhousing blankets required for engines turning over 4200 RPM.
20. Rear U-Joint shields required. Driveshaft loops highly recommended.
